‘The Cemetery Men’, ‘Kech’, ‘Survival’ and ‘A Moment’ are the films that are going to represent Iran at the 45th edition of the Austrian festival.

Ali Mardomi’s ‘The Cemetery Men’ depicts the story of an old man working in a cemetery who spends most of his time praying for the dead.

He is, later on, joined by a young man with a beautiful singing voice who shares with him some events.

Directed by Mehrdad Hasani, ‘Kech’, meaning daughter in the Kurdish language, narrates the story of a nurse who sacrifices herself to save a child from a warzone.

‘Survival’ directed by Masoud Hatami, narrates the story of two people who are stranded in the middle of nowhere, searching to find a way to survive.

Naghi Nemati’s ‘A Moment’ is produced by Ardebil office of Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS).

Festival of Nations international short film festival takes place in Lenzing, a small village in Austria. Every year the event welcomes filmmakers from all over the world.

The festival is slated to run on May 20- June 02, 2017.
